Houston IndependentSchool District's Council of PTAs is a nonprofit agency created to bridge the gap between the local pta and Texas PTA. We advise local ptas as needed as well as train local officers so that their organizations can succeed. We also award at least four $1,000 scholarships to students graduating from a school with a PTA. Texas PTA and HISD Council of PTAs Unite to Present The Benefits of Joining a PTA!Texas Executive Director, Kyle Edwards and Director of Membership, Mary Jo Burgess and Area II Vice President Lisa Holbrook presented a PTA presentation to presidents of both PTA and PTO parent groups in South District on November 17th.
